CaPn bOnEs 8527 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 holy translator batman!! i am assuming none of these offer new information though... perhaps some russian fans will enjoy reading these though... i like the new screen, nice shot of the bridge and the los santos marina... Dude 10 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 I doubt they offer more info, it's more likely information has been censored out.
Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 That shot looks nice... It's weird how some shots make gta 5 look small, and some shots make it look massive...
Crazee 204 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 It's weird how some shots make gta 5 look small, and some shots make it look massive... Maybe it's something to do with being in the water, only going by this screen. As there's more detail under water, and more to load, maybe while you're in or on it, the land map loading (or whatever it's called) takes a back seat to compensate for the mass of detail underwater. That's why you see less.
SpittyTheDude 74 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Whoops. I first thought that's a IV screenshot with a modded submarine, then I realized there's a writing on a warehouse that says ".. Santos". Nice,
Rayge 689 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 One article notes the land is split into two parts - Los Santos and Blaine County. Now I'm wondering, will Blaine county really be that much bigger than LS, as shown in all the fanmade maps in the 'LS mapping' topic?
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 The screen looks like IV. Surprising!
ViceMan 1380 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Looks like an image taken directly from the game itself and not in the cinematic style. Kinda like the helicopter pic that was released quite early.
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Yes, it does. It's nice to see what all of this will look like without the added graphical effects.
ConQueSteD 552 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Nothing new. This is probably the part that's most outstanding so far reading into it That is why the presentation left with mixed feelings. An open world is vast, insanely beautiful (the first games for next-gen will have to try very hard to beat GTA V) and filled with a huge amount of awfully nice details; want to get acquainted with the game, if only for the sake of it. However, the mission of the robbery seemed absurd: that scripted linear beginning, then a very long skirmish (Max Payne 3 is completely reminiscent, by the way), ending with ... nothing. It is hoped that other jobs in the GTA V will be more impressive.
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 The Russians seemed to not be too impressed with much of anything. That doesn't seem good...
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Russians are never happy unless they're killing something... Lol, but seriously, i wouldn't take that snippet too seriously. We've seen what the game is about in trailers and screenshots, we've been here discussing it for long enough, we know we're going to like it, even if the game was in a raw state with no post effects (basically GTA IV) I know i'd still play this shit all the way through until there was nothing left to do on it.
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 I got the "Eh, we khave seen better, comrades..." vibe. I hope they were just blowing smoke.
SpittyTheDude 74 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 Rockstar had the wrong approach, they should've brought some vodka.
eXo Mirakle 18 Report post Posted May 25, 2013 I think what the Russians haven't thought of is maybe, just maybe, that mission was only a small one to demonstrate the combat. It'd make no sense to put one of the big heists in.
Bulletgt 34 Report post Posted May 25, 2013 I know it's not supposed to be here in this topic but 1) I don't know how to start around topic and 2). I don't know where it should go so I'm just gonna ask the question I saw this new screenshot confirmed by another site saying it's real but it doesn't look real to me what do you guys think Shit that post was an accident disregard DISREGARD

G-Lock 5 Report post Posted May 28, 2013 Allthough I cant read Russian my damn self, I just read on a dutch gamer site that one small detail the russians uncovered is that if you have serious injuries, (ie bulletwounds) it will leave a permanent mark in the form of a scar. Pretty damn neat. (Allthough in Dutch, I wanted to add the source of my info: http://www.psx-sense.nl/127511/een-paar-nieuwe-gta-v-details-opgedoken/) Whats your thoughts on that?? Barrybran 851 Report post Posted May 28, 2013 A lot of fricken scars. You'd become a human pincushion.
G-Lock 5 Report post Posted May 28, 2013 Well, I could see, MAJOR injuries during missions have a lasting effect, cause if you put it like that, if your just f*cking around tryin to get the most amount of stars, well, yeah then you'd probably be unrecognisable.... Other option is they do wear off in time... I just really find it an interesting (possible) feature. makes you play more cautiously, (not too much, but just so that you'll try to minimize the damage)
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted May 28, 2013 A lot of fricken scars. You'd become a human pincushion. For all the fires iv'e started in iv it's safe to say about a month playing 5 Trevor will be blacker than Franklin if there is scars.

The9thPawn 19 Report post Posted May 28, 2013 I wonder if the bullet wounds they are referring to are simply in game scars taken specifically from a mission. I just cant see Rockstar making scars for multiple bullet wounds. I don't want my character covered with that shit. Maybe if you visit the hospital they will cover up the wounds with a Band-aidâ„¢.
