1_0.jpg

Note that traffic is on so you'll have plenty of fun avoiding the sober drivers while driving on the wrong side of the road. :)

whew, i thought you stole my race idea for monday with the name of your race ... also, 8 might not be enough to include it in the playlist since there will probably be at least 12 people (average) in the lobby...

In the betting screens, you can get plastered by using the Piswasser Quickplay while you wait...your skill level will change to "Drunk" . The effects carry over to the race, too.

It was an idea I had been playing with in my head for a while. I wanted to use the holes in the walls more than anything.

It's a little small (and tight) for more than 8. Even 8 might be a mess. And with the starting grid location a larger grid may not fit on the exit ramp. If you guys decide to use it you can split up into two sessions.

@Gunny I wish we could force the drunk effect on people. I also wish we could give people a wanted level for the final lap just for added fun. I think cops were ticked on too so maybe if someone does go into it wasted they'll attract some attention.

This is what I was getting at last week. I think DiO & bOnEs knew what i was getting at. Get drunk whilst racing and get drunk irl if you want, too. I always have a beer or two on igta night, I might have a few more this week though. ;)

I like what you're trying to do, i really do. But I've learnt from my own creations that people just get too frustrated with stunt runs. I do try and get some stunt elements in my creations, but a full stunt level is too much at the moment. Until they give us better options anyway.

I spent a fair bit of time designing this one. I wanted to create something that was fluid, and easy to navigate, but challenging at high speeds, and also containing unique segments. I left the vehicle classes fairly open, i want to give people the option to drive a variety of vehicles on this one. (For once, i tried to make a race that doesn't frustrate. I know, it was hard. I really waned to chuck something hair-pulling in there.)

Containium

Land Race -1-16 players.

Add to Game: http://rsg.ms/POR6Fd

Race across the container ship.

3 laps recommended, it's only short.

My original plan was to create a high speed bike weaver on the ship, but it was just too small. So i incorporated some of the dockland, and created a polished circuit with some nice corners instead.

Quad Bike Chaos was originally just a way to test out an idea but after playing a few of Otiz's races I think I've found a way to actually make it enjoyable. Everything is now much closer together and hopefully it should play out as a truly chaotic GTA race that's difficult to build a lead in.

Quad Bike Chaos

Either gun it to the finish line or demolish your rivals, anything goes in this short GTA race. The 'Figure of 8' track with numerous close encounters, explosives and natural obstacles provides plenty opportunity to take out the opponents ahead of you.

I think I'm gonna try improve my other two races as well. Reservoir Dash (http://rsg.ms/PSJCkw) was my attempt to copy Rockstar's formula for races. It's around an area of the map that I think has great potential for a track but mine didn't end up anywhere near as innovative as the amazing ones that were coming out around the same time.

Bifta Beatdown (http://rsg.ms/PSKiWV) I like a lot more though but I haven't had the opportunity to play it with anybody yet to get some feedback. I'm probably not gonna be able to play the crew night again until Easter but I'll bring it up again then.

Are there rules for spacing the checkpoints when making races? Is it possible to create a race without plotting a route?

I have an idea for an 'experts' race where you just put a check point on various landmarks and list the order you need to visit them in the description and racers can use whichever route they find quickest, making use of their own knowledge of the map, for example, from CP1 Vinewood Sign to CP2 Airport to CP3 Grove St to CP4 the Pier. It would add another level of complexity and the better you know the intricacies of the map, the more successful you should be...

I would try it myself but have got lost in the Wasteland...

I started making one of those a while ago, but it was less structured; one checkpoint in the oil field, one at the Vinewood sign, and one at Paleto. Testing it was interesting.

As we always lock down races, i wanted to give you the option of racing your own precious', therefor I've left many of the vehicle classes open, so custom vehicles is advised.

Redwood's Awkward Path

DESCRIPTION

It's another Redwood Lights trach, however these checkpoints are rather awkward.

http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/mmW3I1QO_kqCqeN8YpuuIw?platformId=2

This one has you going on the scaffolding and through unfinished buildings and such. Bit of a different race

I've tweaked Pala Springs Rally. I replaced the signs with dynamic barrels as requested. And I polished a few checkpoints whilst i was there. Looking forward to trying it as a rally now.
