I crashed into a building after a minute or so to see what would happen, which concluded the trippy-floating part of the mission. Edited to fix my spoiler fail. I am so idiot. You could slow the descent and make him gain a little altitude by pulling the analog stick back. Would buy you a little more time. *Double-checks* Yeah, that's vague enough.
