Catching Simon's Repo

I find that I can't do anything to stop and capture the repo for Simon. You can crash into it, run it off the road and no matter what it gets away. I've even managed to stop in front of it, jump out and try to grab it, but it pulls away and I'm left standing there. There must be a way to get the moving repo for the Simon job. I've spent as much as an hour racing all over the map trying to nail it down with no luck. What do I need to do besides ignore Simon's jobs?

i take it you're chasing the coquette... snipe the driver from a distance before he starts speeding off... or blast him with a few shotgun blasts up close... after it's on the run, it's really hard to catch him if you're playing by yourself...

I've never started out close to him, by the time I get anywhere near, he's already on the move. One of the jobs has two cars you're supposed to repo, I've never had other people with me on these things.

I'll try the shotgun thing on him, they seem to come back toward you if you don't keep chasing them.

I chased him all over the map for ages one time. I just ended up getting lucky when he went down the dirt track near the lighthouse and I got close enough to shoot the driver. with 2 people its pretty simple though.

I used a big box truck to pin him against a building to take it. Spent two full in-game days chasing the fucker.

I cant remember the exact name of the missions, but ive ran into the same problems. everyone leaves or times out, then im stuck chasing multiple targets around the map. If you get ballsy, try a couple really hard missions by yourself, and that helps you train up to work like a lone wolf.
