DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 7, 2013 I agree. Things like this make the game feel more belivable/realistic. They should have put them In the game after completion. 'Enable bloopers' mode lol. The disc was completely full though from what I heard, So it probably wasn't financially necessary.
KPXT32 1 Report post Posted May 26, 2013 Let's hear it for a new L.A. Noire hopefully i know they said they would not make another one because of the legal battle but i think they should make another one there making gta 5 a new red dead redemption so why not a new l.a. noire right lol
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted May 26, 2013 LA Noire was a unique, one off game. As much as I'd love a new game In this era and style (there's plenty of noir film to take inspiration from), It just wont happen. R* are good at creating games fans like, but they aren't independent developers, they still need to make money, and money is their first priority, before fans needs. A new LA Noire probably wouldn't be profitable.
The Invisible Lines 50 Report post Posted June 10, 2013 I'm so late to the party, but I recently started playing L.A. Noire and I must say it's really a lot of fun. The facial capture tech blows me away.
ViceMan 1380 Report post Posted June 10, 2013 Yes, but very space hungry for the disc. When HVDs or SVODs have become norm and we can have a few terabytes on a disc then i'm sure all games will have that level of mo-capping.

That Fuckup 146 Report post Posted January 31, 2016 I got this on PS3 a while back, hardly played it. I'll have to give it a proper playthrough some day.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted January 31, 2016 The story's gameplay mechanics were very original. Looking back, i actually loved this game. But once the story ended, the pretty old map was a waste. They could have done something with it, like GTA does so well. If i had the chance to revisit different areas, it would have been a much more memorable place.
CaPn bOnEs 8527 Report post Posted February 1, 2016 i thought they'd drop more missions as time went on, but they abandoned it as quickly as they dropped the company that made it... Â too bad, i thought they found a new avenue to explore, maybe someone else will pick up on it...
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 I still have the game, i may have to borrow my boy's PS3 to play it again some time...
TheLunaticFringe 289 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 I would love to play this again, became quite the adventure as you progress. Played it back on the 360,had 3 discs for the whole game.is it like that for the ps3,dupz?
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 Nope, 360 used dvd discs, whereas PS3 was bluray, so it was only one disc.
TheLunaticFringe 289 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 Ahhh ok,I thought it was only one disc.it was really weird to me at that time cause I'd never bought a game other then battlefield that had 2 discs one for SP and one MP. But back on track,if you can dupz try and some good shotsor anyone else for that matter.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 Can't take screenshots on ps3 unfortunately. Kinda got used to having the privilege of recording in the background and all that!
TheLunaticFringe 289 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 I was assuming your superpowers could screenshot ps3,dup But in all seriousness that should be a game brought to be PSnow.in fantasy you really just want the game to ps4 but in reality it would probably be a big clusterfile of a file.
OnxyBlue22 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 Loved this game and I am still hoping to see another one. I mean they are doing a second RD so why not? This was probably my favorite Rockstar game hands down.
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 4 New Versions of L.A. NOIRE Coming November 14  Today, we're proud to announce new versions of the blockbuster detective thriller L.A. Noire, are scheduled to release on November 14, 2017 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  Alongside these three new console versions, we're taking our first steps into virtual reality with L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files, featuring seven select cases from the original game rebuilt specifically for a virtual reality experience on the HTC VIVE. Set against the seedy and violent underbelly of 1940’s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire is the story of decorated veteran and newly minted detective Cole Phelps as he investigates an escalating series of cases inspired by real-world crimes. Each successfully solved case brings Phelps greater success, but also brings him closer to the dark criminal heart of post-war L.A.  L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for HTC Vive delivers seven of the original engrossing, self-contained cases from L.A. Noire rebuilt specifically for virtual reality, blending breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience.  L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch features the complete original game and all additional downloadable content, with specific enhancements including a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.  L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, including enhanced lighting and clouds, new cinematic camera angles, high resolution textures and more. Plays natively in 1080p for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and stunning 4K for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, these versions capture the grit and grime of the City of Angels like never before.  For more information, visit the updated website at rockstargames.com/lanoire and keep an eye out for more from L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files and L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both there and at the Newswire in the weeks ahead.

CaPn bOnEs 8527 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 pass ... i still have my PS3 version, so i'm not wasting my money until it takes a big price drop, or if it has the rockstar editor attached to it... but even then, i'll have to seriously weigh the idea of re-buying another game that i probably don't have the time to commit to... i'll probably still be playing assassins creed origins anyways...
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 Unless this game looks hyper-real I don't see much of a point for a larger resolution with some better details. Â The VR things seems cool, though. I can imagine turning my head to look around and spot clues.
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted September 8, 2017 Pass. Fuck remasters, fuck Rockstar. Make something new, you fucks.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted September 8, 2017 I have PSVR, so im open to the idea of trying this in VR if it does make it to PS4.  I dont have a working PS3 (literally burnt through 4 of them) because it's the most unreliable console i've ever owned. So the prospect of playing L.A. Noire again on a new platform appeals to me.
CaPn bOnEs 8527 Report post Posted September 8, 2017 entry price is $40 for PS4/XBoxOne, and $50 for switch (has additional features)... the newer version comes with two more collect-a-thon side stuff, which unlocks 4 suits... and if you played the game, you get promoted to different departments, so i am assuming those extra suits are just one for each desk... Â still not buying day one tho ...
