Fallout: Lanius came out today. Watch it, negroes.

not bad, not bad... a good origin story of the hidebarks, and the fall of their tribe... definitely done better than the nukabreak videos, although, the last one they did was all right, red star... a lot more engaging than all the other ones...

and yes, santiago... those were all posted in here somewhere, red star a few pages or so back...

Upon exiting The Tops (having won a few hundred Caps) and heading to the El Dorado Station via Fast Travel, I'd noticed that those bastards at The Tops neglected to return the weapons in my Followers' inventories. There were plenty of high-value items in there, so I'd like to find a way to get the weapons back. Anyone able to provide advice?

You're fucked. You never take a follower into a casino with you, unless you take their weapons away yourself before entering. That is a terrible glitch that they never fixed.

Thought I might be. Welp, time to put down New Vegas forever. (or at least until Fallout 4 is released) Thanks, Mass.

I reckon before I put it down, I'll vent my hysterical rage on the Chairmen, using my remaining weapons.

I'll certainly try entering/re-exiting before I commit mass murder. I'm fine with earning the caps again (basic strategy helps), but the trouble is, I don't save manually often enough. Looks like I'm jolly well fucked (unless your initial idea turns out to work). Thank you, bOnEs.

i doubt it will work... the funny thing is, on my original 1st new vegas file, the casino gave me cassidy and boone's weapons when i left the casino with each of them... i was unable to give them back and when i drop them, i can't pick them back up, plus they're marked red and say "steal" instead... so i added them to decor in my lovely novac apartment...

i think that glitch was fixed early on... but it's still not advisable to EVER take a companion into a casino..

i just got back from zion and looking for more work... i'll probably hit up a casino and gamble for a bit... but soon jasmine will be looking for more work, and where she finds that is anyone's guess... wherever the wind takes me...

Yeah, it didn't work. I'm sure I had a good deal of unique items on my followers, but I'll just have to keep pretending that I didn't. Good thing they didn't take Boone's Apparel -- I loaded his stoic ass down with full-condition Combat Armor. All I need is a vendor with enough money to give. I wonder what, exactly, causes that malfunction/why they haven't fixed it? On my next playthrough, I'll be sure to check my dynamic duo outside at the door before I court Lady Luck.

=======================================================================================================

Meanwhile, I've been enjoying the wonders of stealthy sniping. It's so gratifying to rack up Sneak Attack Criticals from afar with a modded Hunting Rifle. I've been living up to the slogan embroidered on that intimidating crimson beret -- last thing they never see.

This game is like crack.

Because Bethesda games are so notoriously glitchy, I've taken to keeping two files per character, leapfrogging the save files each time (so that if I needed to go back two steps for some crazy reason, I can). Always save after a big fight or before entering a new location. Always. Do it.

i get by with auto save... i save the main file every hour or so... if i am unsure i will like the outcome of a convo, i either autosave before, or i turn off autosave on travel if i am unsure of an area i am entering... but i've played fallout a hundred times so i know when and when not to save... n00bs don't really know so it is probably best to have a couple of save files...

Fuckng love quick save on PC. Press a button, boom saved. I lot of the time i got auto run on when traveling so i just let him run and hit save once in awhile. Can't imagine playing this game on console. I keep about 10 saves per character so I can go way back if i have too. Need more saves the more mods u have. never know when something will fuck up. I also only have saves for one character in the loading screen. For instance, my previous characters I moved them in a separate folder.

i think i've only ever gone back to previous save maybe 1 or 2 times in all the years and characters i've used in fallout 3 and new vegas... sure i've reloaded autosaves quite a few times, but i've never fucked up enough to where i had to go back a few hours, just that one time i decided to shoot up megaton for kicks and giggles but followed a kid into the bathroom only to realize i hadn't saved in a couple hours... that one sucked...

and quick save is easy on the consoles too DiO, all you have to do is wait an hour and it saves for you...

That's what I do... and i've always taken my companions into the casinos* without any apparent glitches.

*is this an euphemism? Also, is it an euphemism or a euphemism? I generally use the rule of an if the first letter is a vowel, but an euphemism sounds awkward. Meh.

The 'eu,' in this instance, takes on the form of a Y serving as a consonant when vocalized, so, 'a euphemism' is correct here.

Ahhh...that is so refreshing. Thanks, Massacre.

Bones I used your trick of leveling up on both good and neutral by using this method. (For the achievements)

Go either way into level 8, I think it was, go to previous save and adjust karma approprietly for same level again.

Last character on Fallout 3, finally went neutral on a couple of levels. Still haven't done evil on any file.

My current game, this dude (yep finally played a dude) got all the way to level 30 before even looking for dad L0L.

started a quest mod called deimos. so far it seems pretty clever. not a quests that tells you exactly what to do. gonna read computer logs and search. not TOO hard at all to figure it out tho. a good balance of searching but not ridiculous.

and ya i used to but more effort in my screens but these days.,..fuck it. fuckin loving the enb im using now tho. probably wont ever change

Finally went for the 'supposed' trick of exiting the Enclave Mobile Crawler at the top, (before triggering detonation)

then re-entering. Surprisingly, the glitch is true for XB360. Gotta do it before you blow the place.

All of the dead Enclave then could be re-looted. I only did it once instead of continuing for infinite ammo.

Just goes to show there is no end of awesomeness to the exploits found in the original Fallout 3.

Why did I not find this before anyone else I will never know, not thorough enough I guess.

I think Fawkes and I walked out of there with about 4,300 lbs of loot from base total.

Tops my previous hauls of like 3,000 lbs or so. Love this game.

EDIT: This file is now on hold with at least 1 DLC to go, as I'm on GTAV now......
