ViceMan 1380 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 Horse mechanics work differently online, you can whistle for your horse anywhere and it'll spawn. In SP you have to be near to it.
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 Different.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 So this was weird. I've crossed through the Tree's of Guarma many times, and only now I see this huge cube randomly. It is only visible if in range, so you wouldn't know it was there unless you were close. It was hollow and untextured. I have seen many other small cubes around outside of the map, and i assumed they were skyboxes for lighting. But this box was insanely large lol
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 Or maybe something out of Arrival.... Whole scene looks cool with the block in the woods. Strange how the shadow takes away the textures but leaves the gloss/reflective/whatever overlay in tact.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 I've started to keep track of the paths up in Tempest, GrizWest. Because there is actually a full network of paths up there with footprints on them. Feel free to join in.
ViceMan 1380 Report post Posted January 8, 2019 (edited) Yeah I went up to Tempest in SP and saw that, dunno why they couldn't have made it accessible in the first place. It's just a snowy valley which perhaps could've formed another link from Adler ranch down to Whinyard strait somewhere. (Or better yet the path from Adler ranch could've extended over to join up with Calumet ravine.) Edited January 8, 2019 by ViceMan
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted January 9, 2019 Here's my method on how to get back to the locked region of the map from chapter 1 using the pass-out trick.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted January 14, 2019 I just figured out how to get into the glacial fractures safely, and explore them! I'm like the first man in the moon! ? Also, I'm talking about the deep abyss crevasses, not the shallow ones. There are paths and cavern-like structures down there. So I did a step-by-step guide, in case anyone else wants to check these out for themselves.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted January 15, 2019 Managed to get into the largest of the glacial fractures. Another uncharted space charted!
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted January 18, 2019 Long route there, but if you want a boat in Guarma this is the way to do it.

DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 4, 2019 Got inside the barn, it was harder than i thought it would be to get in actually. Because all the inner walls are dressed in assets, they kept pushing me back out!
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 4, 2019 So here's what I saw in Gaptooth...
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 5, 2019 No idea why they'd cut this out of the game. I know Armadillo is meant to be a ghost town since everyone died from cholera, but still. They could have left it in... It was pretty much built.
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted February 5, 2019 If I'm not mistaken, that room is where the Natives meet with whatever government agency. Edit: American Fathers - I http://www.ireddead.com/guide/reddeadredemption2/american-fathers-i/ I remember walking around that building to try and find out who the unnamed agency was but only found the theater. Funny it takes up the whole building so there isn't any offices anyway (aside from above the theater I suppose).
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 6, 2019 Nice, I didn't realize. I just saw it from the inside and wondered why it was there. Was this used in any mission?
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted February 6, 2019 Not that I recall. Possible some enemies from one of the missions (Micah's breakout or another) spawn from inside there. edit hours later: Just realized that was the back half that was detailed, not the front. Unless the front didn't spawn correctly for some reason. Strange either way.
