This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans. We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer. In the meantime, please enjoy this selection of new screenshots from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. MrMister81 473 Report post Posted May 23, 2017 Zoiks, a R* game delayed? <feigned shock> Bank on at least one more "we're not releasing it until it's perfect", and we'll see this one just in time for the 2018 holiday season. Those screens, tho. Jinkies!
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted May 23, 2017 Meh. Rockstar may as well announce their games with "hey, we're working on this. Be done whenever." Release dates from them mean nothing.
CaPn bOnEs 8527 Report post Posted May 24, 2017 pretty much... the one thing i like is it was built from the ground up for this gen... GTAV, while it was a decent port, it shows its age like grandma on bingo night... it's one of the things that frustrates me about playing every week on crew nights... that game is old as fuck and it shows, with every failure popping up every few minutes ... but what can you expect from 4 year old tech... this screenshot in particular gives me a hard on... it looks soooo rich in detail, i feel like i am there ... the only thing that bugs me is this guys (^) left foot... but everything else is just so immersive... i feel like this is a scene of someone wandering into a new town, with that carriage leaving after unloading a new batch of silver... this looks like one of the main towns in the game IMO, it's pretty condense, which is a sign that it's one of the bigger places to visit... Bronson 702 Report post Posted May 26, 2017 I think it's safe to say every building should be fully enterable. I know that can never happen with GTA but it should be easy with Red Dead.
