Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 21, 2014 Could also be that I'm repugnant lol. No but I actually don't lose interest in a girl, even after she rejects me...twice. Anyway back on topic. So i bought this Hurst 8009 shifter for the steal of $20 the other day. Gotta get one of these too
Rob 1390 Report post Posted August 22, 2014 I used to have a chrome skull shifter in my torana. It seriously gave me blisters in summer. I had a sock in the car I used to put over it when I parked. Looked fucking cool though.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 22, 2014 Well it's the same shifter that's found in the 4 speed Novas and Chevelles, Been trying to find a Nova too, my favorite Chevy. So i guess we could call this the start of the project. Just need the car now

Truth 429 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 Too much shit, nothing sexier than a 60/70's clean engine compartment with a blown big block. Fucking EPA
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 Noticing that the car breathes better Brian? A bit happier of a car now eh.
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 Too much shit, nothing sexier than a 60/70's clean engine compartment with a blown big block. Fucking EPA Plus, all that shit makes it fucking impossible to get any work done. I put a master cylinder into a newer car a bit ago; maneuvering a wrench was torture.

Truth 429 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 Can't put a socket on a brake line fitting. I did that all day today, running lines on a 95 Merc Grand Marquis.
Brian 972 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 I can't decide on wheels for the life of me. Third set is on clearance price for almost $100 off. I like the look of the solid black FR500's though (last). Mine for reference.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 Well since I'm a racer at heard and a performance junkie, get the lightest wells they have, less unsprung weight you know.

I can't decide on wheels for the life of me. Third set is on clearance price for almost $100 off. I like the look of the solid black FR500's though (last). Mine for reference. I honestly just want the car to look good and the stock wheels don't cut it for me.
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 Alright, well i'd say the Black FR500 with the polished lip
Ace Of Spades 1182 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 Thanks to Brian, Personally i like the restomod look with the raggedy paint. Maybe an inch smaller with more rubber though.
Truth 429 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 The mustang needs a low spoiler.
Brian 972 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 I like the spoilerless look, why do you think it needs a spoiler?
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 That pic is *falsetto* gor-geeeeous. I like the current wheels...why not give 'em a quality coat of quality black paint?
Brian 972 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 That pic is *falsetto* gor-geeeeous. I like the current wheels...why not give 'em a quality coat of quality black paint? They just seem a bit too small for me, maybe I'll pick up some plastidip so that way I can see what black wheels would generally look like in person before I buy anything. Truth 429 Report post Posted August 29, 2014 Just looks better with a spoiler, not some big obnoxious chicken wing, just a low classy one. Without one it just looks like another car on the road, all those wheel pics they had nice spoilers.

Massacre 7646 Report post Posted August 29, 2014 Personally, I like ducktail spoilers, but not the one you posted.
Truth 429 Report post Posted August 29, 2014 2nd one, 1st is too tall and the ducktail looks bad at that angle, plus I'm not a huge fan of ducktails.
