Walking Dead - AMC Sunday Nights 9PM EST

i'm looking forward to seeing the kingdom tonight... and seeing how the group plans to move forward after what happened to them in the woods... that first episode tho, that's one of the better ones in this series IMO... a lot of people found it to be too graphic and/or don't want to watch it because of who died  (give me a break... sincerely, game of thrones fan) but i thought it played up to the hype quite well... and i think it's gonna be a transition season, which means what we just saw might be the biggest shock moment of the season... there's gonna be a lot of "trying to get along" this season with the different settlements...

QFT. Too many people get wayyy too wrapped up in these relationships. If somebody dying in a zombie show is difficult to watch following you shouldn't watch. Nobody in the core group is off limits at this point (both comics and tv show), and that includes Rick and Carl.

Kirkman has said several times that he won't kill Rick. He didn't start teasing that he might until the show started and became massively popular.

Rick is safe, unless the show blatantly and permanently shifts to focus on a different character. Unlike GoT, TWD has a definite, indisputable main character, and that won't change, even if the role does.

i like what this current episode said, everyone needs a leader, you need someone the people can look to... i really liked this episode, it was a nice set up for the kingdom and hilltop and alexandria... i feel like we're gonna see some happy times, but those moments when negans crew continues to push the rest of these settlements too far are gonna be highlights... does he want to see them rebel, or are his numbers that high that he can fuck with them?

no spoilers just an observation... i really liked this episode, after last week, we needed something that focused more on the season ahead instead of torture porn...

Just finished watching.

Zeke gave me vibes I just didn't get in the comics. I was genuinely sceptical of him and the kingdom.

Shiva looked fucking awesome.

I'm looking forward to the next episode. Something big has to happen. We've caught up with all the characters and see how things are going to be if they dont merk Negan right hard....in the ass. Let's hope for no filler.

nothing happens until the season (mid season) finale...

They case negan perfectly. Every time he is around you can feel the tension. Butt clinching,

i feel like we've gotten the new story arch's out of the way, so now it's all about the progression... rick is basically starting from scratch, carol and morgan are in a nice spot, and maggie and sasha are working with our newer connections... we all know that eventually all compounds will defy negan... perhaps that even happens this season... but i love seeing the progression of it, the end result doesn't matter to me with this series, it's all about coping with the current reality... which is why i am getting a good chuckle out of rick's situation ...

but even watching negan's men tells me that they wouldn't mind seeing him gone... but they wont say it course, but they show it... i feel like the balance of georgia (are they still in georgia?) teeters on rick finally getting his balls back...

another season in the books... while i didn't find this season very entertaining, it did have it's moments, and a few really good episodes... i am glad to see that next season will be all out war (or so they say it is lol)... this entire season was setting up the storylines between all of the new locations... it took a whole season to introduce us to the kingdom, seaside, more of hilltop, the trash people, and lots more about the saviors... too much going on, made it hard to focus on advancing the story... i feel like this season only lasted maybe a month in the story with all the jumping around...

looking forward to next season tho, they set it up all nicely, even tho i think there should of been more action and more zombies, but meh... what can ya do :)... at least it didn't end on a fucking 6-8 month clifhanger ...

Season had way too much filler. Increasingly has for the past 4 or 5 seasons now.

If they made this 10 episodes, every episode would be either prime action or prime character development, since they only seem to bother developing 3 people and everybody else is just "FRUSTRATED" or "MOPEY" and so on.

Honestly as it's reaching the better comic story arcs, the tv show is just getting worse. At least the telltale series is good

that only lasted maybe a minute or 2 ... its wasn't that long total...

nothing will top the prison episodes for me, but they're in a good place now... looking forward to seeing the whisperers too ;)...

I actually agree with QD. This season was the best in a while. I think im the only person that likes Negan, even if he is predictable and has repettive body language.

Seriously, he does the same face, puts the bat on his shoulder, and arches his back in every scene. It was a weird quirk the first couple of times but now it seems forced.

Also the way

The Kingdom just rushed in and saved Carl

was set up, with the the 20 minute build up, and then the uber cheesy feel good music, made me cringe a little.

i like negan too... i like how he uses the same lines too like "you might just be my new best friend" or how everything is "that might be the best damn thing i ever heard/seen in my entire life!"... if you look at this show from negans point of view, rick is the villain... there are no evil guys in this world... except the governor... he was a little messed up in the head lol...

I liked this season but I agree there was too much filler. Not enough to stop me watching but I am feeling like I have to "put up with it"

I still think Simon ( Steven Ogg ) is a way better villain than Negan. I love his subtle insanity. Yeah he kinda of is the same as Trevor but whatever.

I'm thinking he may be taking the role Dwight took over in the comics after the thing happens. Or at least I hope he does. Would prefer he be around for the long haul.

it was well deserved... he was certainly one of the highlights of this season... for not having a role in the comics, he, like daryl, have made it impossible to kill off... it's not just the GTA faithful i follow that think he's cool (they actually don't give a shit lol because he doesn't get them RTs), but he was clearly one of the highlights of season 7... both him and dwight were...

if you want to see ogg uncut, watch the kinda funny guys... seriously, they are the best non bias give it to you straight group out there, best in the biz... i have loved them even before they left IGN, and they are STILL bringing it uncut... i really love their insight into the nerdy world we live in... anywho, so i guess he was in town for a walkerstalker con, and immediately hooked up with his only contact in SF, greg miller... they spent the previous night getting drunk lol... here's the next day interview B)

also, i am still in love with eugene as well (my currently favorite character still alive)... what is angle tho?? i'm curious...
