Rayge 689 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Yeah, they included Mexico in RDR so it's not like its a preposterous idea. Would be cool if you tried to cross the border and gotcho' ass shot by the military lol

JustAn808 130 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 If you look at the relationship between GTA 3 and GTA 4, the islands of Liberty City were completely different. Portland = Broker, Staunton Island = Algonquin, Shoreside Vale = Alderney. So, if we were to look at a potential relationship between GTA: SA and GTA V, Venturas will most likely not be included.. (my opinion) because I have a feeling R* is going to have more of a California/West Coast focus rather than Vegas. Not saying that there won't be the same amount of areas...they just most likely will not mirror Venturas. BUT!! They still kept the name Los Santos sooooo....big question mark
Rayge 689 Report post Posted December 1, 2011 The "west coast" era was back in the 90s, not now.
JustAn808 130 Report post Posted December 1, 2011 The "west coast" era was back in the 90s, not now. So what would you call this era?
Rayge 689 Report post Posted December 2, 2011 Not sure, but the whole west-coast gangbangin shit was at its prime in the 90s, with the West V East beef. Do you hear music focused on the west-coast being released as frequently, if at all as in the 90s?
JustAn808 130 Report post Posted December 2, 2011 I was just talking about the west coast in general as opposed to Las Vegas (Venturas). Not necessarily focusing on gang banging and the music. I agree that they won't focus on the same things as they did in SA West Coast...at all. But rather the pursuit of the almighty dollar...that just happens to be set in the West Coast. Basically, when I say "West Coast" I'm not talking about the 90's era, just the location.
MC_Rasp 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2011 I hope it would include San Fierro & Las Venturas + all da small towns in da countryside, like in GTA: San Andreas... It's impossible to understand what you're saying. Punctuation means periods commas and apostrophes...
wickedsick 3 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 I don´t know if just me recognized an similarity to the Las Vegas-sign on the pest control vans.. But i think it could be a signt, that Las Venturas is also available in GTA V. What do you tink?
gta_addict420 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 my theory is that all cities will be here. look back to the first san andreas trailer, it too showed all shots of just LS. maybe due too rockstars new rage engine, they want to keep the other too citys a surprise. or i could be completley wrong. anything could be right.
Rayge 689 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 Yeah maybe. I wouldn't mind only LS, that would leave the state of SA for the next generation of consoles, so each city will be even more detailed. Worth waiting for, imo.
LOSSANTS04 1 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 Oops sorry was in a rush my theory is that all cities will be here. look back to the first san andreas trailer, it too showed all shots of just LS. maybe due too rockstars new rage engine, they want to keep the other too citys a surprise. or i could be completley wrong. anything could be right. but in san andreas you could get out of the big citys in on the highway in like 10 seconds, this current los santos looks very detailed

Worth waiting for, imo. I agree with this. I would rather get the other cities in their own epic games. This new, huge Los Santos looks like plenty of land for all to enjoy. Its hard for me to imagine just a newly desinged LV, there not that much if you really think about it, casinos, and neighborhoods in the back of the city
MisterPerfecto 1 Report post Posted December 8, 2011 I think SF and LV returns, because the licenses plate say ''San Andreas'' I know in real life you see the state on the number plate, but in GTA you only see the city on the license plate, like GTA 4 or GTA San Andreas. For example a screenshot from a number plate from San Fierro or Los Santos you see the city on it,not the name of the state
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted December 8, 2011 Aside from the obvious text, GTA IV had "Liberty City State" on it (should have left the city part out, but I only blame Rockstar a little bit ). GTA III & Vice City had blurry plates but they were obviously based on actual state plates. Considering the progress from III to IV, I would say the city plates in San Andreas were just to give the vehicles some uniqueness. Rockstar was spreading their wings a little with details, even if they were not completely realistic. In my opinion they are getting more realistic with GTA V and using the state. It does not necessarily mean the other cities are in the game, it's just a realistic detail.
VeryLight 5 Report post Posted December 8, 2011 Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, a boarder Mexican city (very violent), and a city north of San Fierro, could be a recreation of Seattle (Steal City) or Vancouver (Vancas City) with snow and winter sports. Lets see who starts the insults...
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted December 8, 2011 No one has insulted you, we've just pointed out how bad you are at making shit up. Put "I would like" in front of your GTA V predictions and stop claiming they're fact, and stop saying that you work for Take-Two, and we won't have any problems.

marneyknuckle 30 Report post Posted December 9, 2011 Dude really its the state of san andreas. Not Washington to canada... I couldn't imagine going any further north than the cali/oregon border IF that san feirro would be the northern most city, if we can even go there. Seattle would b cool, but it isn't happening
VeryLight 5 Report post Posted December 9, 2011 Las Venturas is a recreation of Las Vegas. But in R* San Andreas it was part of the "state".
jmjam 2 Report post Posted December 9, 2011 They didn't say there wouldn't be other cities. Plus San andreas didn't reveal all the cities in their first trailer. Plus the GTA 5 trailer does hint at "I5 Los Puerta" (I think that's what the name was) but this could possibly hint at a different city.
